Having trained with Lees, I qualified as a solicitor in 1999 and specialised in clinical negligence cases. I was became a partner in 2003, joined the Board in 2010 and am now Managing Partner. Having experienced so many different roles within Lees gives me an understanding of how all the members of the firm can work together, and how important each individual is in driving our success.
My career highlights include success in the Court of Appeal, assisting clients to obtain £multi-million settlements which can help to try to get lives back on track after a devastating events, and the ‘thank you’ that a client gives you when you conclude their case.
I also take great satisfaction from managing a successful and forward-thinking firm which has great energy and enthusiasm driven by people who care about what they do and the difference that they make.
I have a young family and love spending my spare time with them. I do still manage to squeeze in a few games of golf, but nothing like I used to and I expect my handicap to keep rising!
