A partner in the Complex Personal Injury team, Matthew has decades of experience in the industry helping clients who have suffered a range of injuries. He specialises in claims involving serious and catastrophic injuries including head and brain injuries, amputations, and spinal cord injuries.

Due to his specialism in serious injury cases, Matthew has secured many individual settlements in excess of £1 million; in the last five years alone he has recovered in excess of £100million for clients. He has also been the lead solicitor on many ground breaking cases, including Tinsley v Sarker (2005) EWHC 192 QB, which featured an unprecedented point on statutory funding.

A skilled litigator, Matthew also has knowledge of criminal and matrimonial law and has experience in cases involving professional negligence.

Matthew is motivated by improving the quality of life for his clients and always focuses on rebuilding people’s life after they suffer a serious injury.
