Melanie, Head of the General Personal Injury Department, is dual qualified as a Barrister (1995) and a Solicitor (2001). She leads the personal injury team specialising in employer’s liability and public liability, running her own case-load of complex hand, arm and brain injuries. She has particular expertise in chronic pain, particularly in complex regional pain syndrome.

Melanie recognises that litigation is a stressful process and does her utmost to manage and reduce that stress for her clients, bringing personal knowledge and understanding to bear. She is very approachable and sensitive to the needs of her clients but will fight to ensure the best possible outcome for them. Melanie acts for clients nationally and is happy to travel to meet clients face-to-face, or by Skype if preferred. A member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).
