As a serious injury lawyer with over 30 years of experience specialising in high value catastrophic injury claims, I have become recognised as a leading specialist in the field of brain injury. I have dealt with a significant number of high value claims, many resulting in seven-figure settlements, and I am regarded as “leader in the field” in the legal directory, Chambers UK

My interest extends far beyond maximising compensation awards though; one of my key concerns has always been to enable the effective rehabilitation of clients, and ensuring that they have funds available, wherever possible, to pay for the best rehabilitation.

Having developed an enviable network of professionals in the south east to support clients in their recovery and improve their quality of life, I co-founded Brain Injury Group when it launched in 2011, where I still remain involved as a non-executive director. As a result of this I won the UKlawyer award ‘For innovation and inspiration in the field of brain injury’ from the charity, United Kingdom Acquired Brian Injury Forum, in 2011/12. I am proud to be recognised within both the legal and medical communities having trained and delivered talks on the subject of brain injury to a variety of professionals, including doctors, over the years.

My interest in helping survivors of brain injury extends beyond the law, and I am actively involved in improving services for people affected by brain injury as Chair of Headway Hurstwood Park, a charity providing care, rehabilitation and support services, and a founder and Chair of the Sussex Acquired Brain Injury Forum (SABIF), an active organisation promoting awareness and services for brain injury in the Sussex community. I am also a member of the United Kingdom Acquired Brain Injury Forum (UKABIF) and the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.
