I have been a partner at Wolferstans since 1994. The firm has enjoyed a very high profile in personal injury work for many years, and I have managed catastrophic injury claims for over 25 years, with a particular focus on brain injuries. My team is based in Plymouth and we have clients throughout Devon and Cornwall but also across the country.
I have worked on a number of multi million pound cases for brain injured people. This includes a couple of recent cases where I have obtained anonymity orders to protect my clients’ identities.
I am passionate about achieving the best for my clients and their families, and very sensitive to the fact they are often dealing with life changing events. This means being there for them when needed; giving immediate, caring and sympathetic support, as well as adopting a thorough and determined approach to making the most of rehabilitation and maximising damages. In this I use my specialist knowledge and connections gained over many years.
I am proud that our clients recommend us highly as it is my enduring ambition that, no matter how dreadful their circumstances, they will look always back on the assistance they received from me, and my team, and feel that our support and services were invaluable to them.
Besides my professional commitment to supporting people with brain injuries, I have also been involved with Headway Plymouth since 1997 when I was appointed to the management committee. This has included providing legal advice, but I have also been active in the many charitable and social events which they run too.
