Andrew Warlow: Partner, Solicitor
Andrew leads the Head and Spinal Injuries Team. He has been a partner at Wolferstans since 1994. The firm has enjoyed a very high profile in personal injury work for many years, and Andrew has managed catastrophic injury claims for over 25 years, with a particular focus on brain injuries. His team is based in Plymouth and they have clients throughout Devon and Cornwall but also across the country.
He has worked on a number of multi-million pound cases for brain-injured people. These include a couple of recent cases where he has obtained anonymity orders to protect his clients’ identities.
Andrew is passionate about achieving the best for his clients and their families, and very sensitive to the fact they are often dealing with life changing events. This means being there for them when needed: giving immediate, caring and sympathetic support, as well as adopting a thorough and determined approach to making the most of rehabilitation and maximising damages. In this he uses his specialist knowledge and connections gained over many years.
He is proud that Wolferstans’ clients recommend them highly as it is his enduring ambition that, no matter how dreadful their circumstances, they will always look back on the assistance they received from him, and his team, and feel that their support and services were invaluable to them.
Besides his professional commitment to supporting people with brain injuries, Andrew is also a director of Headway Plymouth, a local charity promoting awareness of and helping the victims of acquired brain injury and their carers. He was appointed to their management committee in 1997. The role has included providing legal advice, but he has also been active in the many charitable and social events which they run.
He is the contact partner for Wolferstans and has been for many years on the Headway – The Brain Injury Association Personal Injuries Solicitors List, as well as the Spinal Injuries Association Directory for Personal Injuries Solicitors.
Andrew is a Fellow of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers and has been accredited by them as a brain injury specialist. He is also a member of The Law Society’s Specialist Personal Injury Panel.
