About Knights plc
The Knights plc dedicated vulnerable people team works to provide long-term support to head and brain injury sufferers beyond their initial claim.
The team of legal professionals act as part of a clients’ support team, offering support in relation to:
- Arranging for support mechanisms, such as an Attorney or Court appointed Deputy to be put in place
- Advising families on how to provide for a vulnerable person both now and in the future
- Management and administration of trusts
- Advising on entitlements, state funded care and related asset protection
- The day-to-day management of affairs
They are also able to provide a full range of additional services, such as employment advice relating to carers etc. and family advice in respect of divorce.

About Glen Miles
In addition to general private client work advising on wills, trusts and estate administration, Glen has developed particular expertise acting on behalf of vulnerable people and their families and carers. He has worked as a court appointed panel deputy for over 15 years and led asb law’s specialist team that services this sector.
Glen acts as honorary solicitor to Citizens Rights for Older People, a Kent-based charity, and regularly speaks at conferences, training sessions and educational talks for charities and carers support groups in relation to vulnerable people. He is a recommended adviser for Mencap and is directly, or as part of the firm, a member of MIND, Disability Rights UK, Centre for Independent Living, Action on Elder Abuse, KABIF, SABIF, Solicitors for the Elderly and STEP.
Glen also supports charities in administering legacies, bequests and estates left to them. He provides advice on charitable relief for IHT, as well as on the incidence of IHT, CGT and Income Tax during the administration of trusts and estates. He also provides training and support for legacy officers.
