About Jane MacGregor

Jane MacGregor qualified as a solicitor in 1991 and founded and heads the Court of Protection department at Jackson Lees.

Jane has specialised in this area of law since qualification and acts as professional deputy for over one hundred clients. The client group is mixed, many being referred from other firms who do not have the specialist knowledge to advise clients appropriately, especially if the appointment is during the course of litigation.

Jane prepares witness statements for other firms of solicitors estimating the costs of professional deputyship.

Jane is a member of the panel of Court appointed deputies held by the Office of the Public Guardian (one of approximately 65 in the UK) and a fully accredited member of Solicitors for the Elderly.

Jane also acts as a professional trustee and attorney.
