About Lucy Nicol
Lucy Nicol is National Head of the Court of Protection team and Regional Managing Partner for Newcastle. Appointed by the Court of Protection to act as professional deputy for clients who’ve lost capacity to manage their financial affairs.
The majority of Lucy’s work involves acting as professional deputy for clients who’ve received multi-million-pound damages awards, either as a result of medical negligence or serious injury. After settlement her role is helping clients invest their compensation in the best way, buying a property suitable to their needs, and putting in place commercial care packages, as well as other financial matters.
