Our popular traumatic brain injury training events return in 2020 with two all new agendas. Each day will cover a diverse range of topics, highly relevant to those supporting clients with a brain injury. Sessions include medical, rehabilitation and legal topics, presented by experts in their field.

– Poor outcome following mild traumatic brain injury
Daniel Friedland, Consultant Neuropsychologist, Imperial Multi-Disciplinary TBI Team
This talk will focus on the reasons why some individuals make a poor recovery following a mild traumatic brain injury. This includes factors such as underestimating the severity of the traumatic brain injury, pain, psychiatric factors, disrupted sleep and fatigue. Symptom exaggeration also needs to be considered in these cases. The findings from diffusion tensor imaging will also be considered in this talk.
– Financial matters to consider for brain injured clients
