This one day workshop is designed to give an understanding of military veterans and the Armed Forces community to those that may deal with them on a regular basis. It is intended to give direction to professional services as to the issues that are faced by veterans and their families and where to access help for them. It is also to give guidance as to what priority medical care is and what it means for providers.
The target groups for this workshop are those with a vested interest in the armed forces and veteran’s community, including:
- NHS Staff (GP’s, nurses, psychologists, Emergency Service Personnel)
- Social Services
- Criminal Justice (Police, Probation, Prison Service)
