Neuro-imaging in 2021 webinar

This webinar will be presented by Dr Emer MacSweeney and Dr Steve Allder of Re:Cognition Health who will be reviewing neuro-imaging in 2021 and new imaging biomarkers for mild traumatic brain injury. They will also look at the correlation with the clinical presentation of the patient, including when and how to use the imaging and new biomarkers.

This webinar is aimed at catastrophic injury and clinical negligence lawyers, but may also be of interest to case managers and therapists who support clients following bringing personal injury claims.

About our speaker for Neuro-imaging in 2021 webinar

Dr Emer MacSweeney is CEO and Medical Director of Re:Cognition Health. As a Consultant Neuroradiologist, she was previously Director of Neuroradiology at Atkinson Morley’s Hospital, St George’s Healthcare Trust. Dr MacSweeney has extensive experience in both the NHS and independent sector. Dr MacSweeney trained in neuroradiology at The Hospital of Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square, specialising in interventional vascular neuroradiology. She has developed a special interest in neuroradiology of cognitive impairment disorders and has considerable experience in the imaging of neurovascular diseases and traumatic brain injury, including medico-legal expert reporting.

Dr Steven Allder is a consultant neurologist. He trained in Nottingham in general medicine and carried out his specialist neurology training at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Dr Allder is currently working at Re:Cognition Health, using his clinical expertise to focus on the assessment of patients with traumatic brain injury.
