About our speaker for the SEND Reforms webinar
Laxmi Patel leads Boyes Turner’s Education team and has extensive expertise in helping children with profound and complex difficulties. She is a recognised specialist SEN solicitor with over 10 years’ experience of working within SEND. Laxmi works in the most complex of cases with children requiring tri-partite funding from statutory bodies – education, health, social case – independent residential schools, bespoke home provision and dual placements. Her specialism is appeals to the SEND Tribunal, including representation. She works closely with parents, case managers, deputies and many independent special schools in EHCP challenges to the SEND Tribunal.
