I am passionate about helping those who have been catastrophically injured to get their lives back on track. My primary focus is on working with people who have acquired brain injury, spinal injury and providing Inquest representation in fatal incident claims. I also have experience in corporate manslaughter cases and claims which involve acting on behalf of multiple claimants. I have taken on, and run successfully, many claims which other solicitors have turned down, securing large settlements to ensure clients’ long-term care.

With over 15 years’ personal injury expertise, and as a Fellow of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) and as a member of the Law Society’s Personal Injury Panel and a member of Headway, my aim is to stretch legal boundaries when necessary in order to achieve the best results for my clients while always remaining approachable and understanding. The Legal 500 describes me as “a determined, tenacious litigator” while a client recently said “I could not have asked for a better person to be in my corner to look after my affairs … Hannah was very calm and collected the whole way through this process which put my mind at ease through some of the most difficult times of my life”. Chambers UK adds ”Hannah is regarded by the market as a ‘good communicator’ who has established a very strong personal injury practice”.

I am a Trustee of the Cambridgeshire Road Victims Trust and in an attempt to help ensure that as many people as possible who are injured receive the legal support they need and deserve, I’ve delivered training and presentations to a diverse range of audiences including police family liaison officers, Citizens Advice bureaux advisors and brain injury case managers. I also won ‘Personal Injury Young Achiever of the Year’ when I was still young enough to do so!

Most importantly, my clients are at the centre of everything I do and they know that they can contact me whenever they need to. My involvement is not just on a 9 to 5 basis running a legal claim. My aim is to secure the best treatment and rehabilitation available and to obtain an early interim payment to help fund care, property adaptations, transport and everything else that my clients may need as they strive for the best possible quality of life after a catastrophic injury. Ashtons Legal also has a specialist Court of Protection team which can support clients’ families in a range of ways if a client has lost capacity to manage their own affairs.

I am always happy to talk to anyone about a claim they may have and see how we can help.
