I head the personal injury team at Knights, after qualifying as a solicitor 1994. I also have an MBA in Management of Legal Practice.
Recognised as a specialist in clinical negligence and personal injury cases, I have successfully recovered damages and admissions in many high value cases including the highest lump sum award for a patient with cerebral palsy of £6.6million in 2006. I’m always willing to go the extra mile to pursue clients’ interests vigorously and takes a client friendly approach.
I have developed a niche specialism in equine law, and have handled many injured cases involving equine activities that have caused head injuries. I also act as Deputy in Court of Protection matters involving personal injury awards.
I’m proud to have been described in the legal directories as ‘a doughty and tenacious lawyer’ and ‘sensationally good’ with a national reputation as a brain injury and cerebral palsy specialist. I have been a speaker on courses for CLT, LexisNexis and other organisations and has regularly published articles in journals including Solicitors Journal, and been Lawyer of the Week in the Law Society Gazette.
