Now head of the Head Injury UK team, (a subdivision of Higgs & Sons specialising in head injuries) I have personally spent over 30 years representing people with brain injuries. I have always been passionate acting for injured people, especially those with brain injuries because I see how I can make a lasting difference to their lives. Ensuring that they receive full and fair compensation, allows them and their families to move on with their lives.
I’ve acted for people who suffered brain injury in a wide variety of circumstances, including road or works accidents. Most recently, I settled a claim for £1.6m for a man left brain injured after he was knocked off his bike, leaving him with no memory of what had happened.
As a trustee for Headway Black Country, a local charity, I help work with people with acquired brain injuries and am also listed in the Headway Head Injury Solicitors Directory. I’m an active member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers and in the past I was also Chairman of the Motor Accident Solicitors’ Society. I was also HM Deputy Coroner for Hereford & Worcester North (1990 – 97) and President of the Birmingham Medico-Legal Society (2011 – 2013).
