Brake’s Road Safety Week is the UK’s biggest road safety event, with millions of people around the UK getting involved every year to take action for safer roads.
We’re delighted to once again support this campaign week, the theme this year is Be a Road Safety Hero, but here at Brain Injury Group, we’re adapting it slightly to Be a Road Safety Superhero!

Road Safety Superheroes resources
We invited primary school age children across the UK to get involved, by designing their own superhero to help keep children safe on and around our roads. They did this by colouring in one of our posters, available to download below, writing a short story (there’s a template below to help them get started) or to create from scratch their own road safety superhero or vehicle, either as a drawing or as a 3D model.
To enter, a parent or guardian can send a photograph of their artwork or creation, along with details of their superheroes name and superpower to Julie.email@example.com please include your child’s first name and age. Entries should be received no later than Wednesday 17 November and we’ll be announcing our winners on 19 November. Winners will be contacted via email for contact details so that we can arrange for a prize to be delivered.
Please keep an eye on our social media and website as we’ll be adding more resources on a regular basis to help children learn about road safety.
By submitting an entry into our competition, you are giving permission for us to use your photograph on our website and in our social media, and we may include your child’s first name and age.
