Thrings LLP solicitors have secured significant compensation in a clinical negligence case in which Charles Organ sustained a catastrophic brain haemorrhage.
Charles had been making a good recovery from a head injury sustained in a cycling accident when the medical error occurred at Charing Cross Hospital in June 2007.
Thrings managed to secure interim payments that enabled Charles to return home in July 2009 where his wife, Sue, and professional carers care for him round the clock.
The High Court awarded Charles £2.35m and £300,000 per year for the rest of his life. The settlement will allow Charles to receive the specialist care he needs and will enable him and Sue to move to a specially adapted home.
Thrings LLP partner Neil Elliott led the case and is to be congratulated for his tenacity and patience that led to this successful outcome.
