The Coronavirus Act 2020 webinars

As Coronavirus (Covid-19) continues to spread around the World, the Government have introduced protocols and guidance notes, financial assistance for individuals and businesses and legislation to assist the country through this unprecedented and challenging time.

The extent of quickly-changing information can make it difficult to digest and pick out details relevant to your own unique situation. To aid with this process we are producing a series of webinars which look at the Coronavirus Act 2020 and how it affects carers, businesses, those with brain injuries and their families.

Covid-19 and The Coronavirus Act 2020

The Coronavirus Act 2020 came into effect on 25 March 2020 and provides the Government with emergency powers across a number of sectors, with the intention to limit transmission of the disease, ease the burden on public health services, assist healthcare workers and those who are affected financially by Coronavirus.

Coronavirus Act 2020 webinars

This series of webinars by James Pantling-Skeet, Community Care Specialist at member law firm Lester Aldridge, seeks to provide clarification on the implications of the Coronavirus Act 2020, The Coronavirus Regulations and Government Guidance for anyone seeking to access education, health and social care during the Coronavirus emergency period, with a particular focus on those affected by brain injury.

These webinars are suitable for the general public who may have a loved one affected by brain injury, as well as professionals who work with, and support, individuals with a brain injury.

Webinars dealing with the implications for special educational needs provision, children’s social care, and matters relating to mental capacity will follow shortly.
