Previously Lead Consultant Neuropsychologist and Head of Speciality in the Stroke and Neurosciences Directorate of the Brighton & Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust, Dr Anderson has independent practice interests in the UK and Channel Islands.

He sees a range of patients and has a special interest in mild traumatic brain injury, ADHD, neuro-oncology, and COVID-19-related cognitive difficulties. He also provides services to the insurance, rehabilitation, and aviation industries.

Expert Witness Services

With an interest in all forms of acquired brain injury and evidence-based neuropsychological practice, Dr Anderson has provided Expert reports to solicitors and agencies for over 25 years. The majority has been in personal injury and medical negligence matters but he has given evidence in criminal trials.

To provide the best possible service to individuals with acquired brain injury, he conducts comprehensive neuropsychological assessments using up-to-date measures of cognition and psychological adjustment. Where it is difficult for individuals to travel, he offers domiciliary visits. Additionally, he has interests in Tele-neuropsychology and offers remote (i.e. non-face-to-face) consultations and assessments. He has extensive experience in neurorehabilitation and is able to provide advice and guidance on rehabilitation needs.

Current appointment: Consultant Neuropsychologist (States of Guernsey Health and Social Care) and independent practice interests (UK and Channel Islands).

Qualifications: BSc(Hons), MSc (Clin.Psych), PhD (Neuropsychology). BPS Specialist Register of Clinical Neuropsychologists (0000135018294)
