fAABI is a Westminster-based charity with a mission to create a client-led service; running activities that support people living with an acquired brain injury (ABI) to build the knowledge, skills and confidence to live life to the full. We create a comfortable and non-judgmental environment where people with an ABI and their loved ones can come together and strengthen bonds, as well as have the opportunity to get to know new people and create new friendships. As social isolation is prevalent among adults with ABI, we create a safe space where social activities tackle the issue.
Alongside social events such as movie nights, off-site events and Subbuteo sessions, we facilitate workshops to help people with an ABI develop new skills during diverse sessions such as guitar, piano, creative writing and basic law lessons, and more. We support adults with an ABI based in all London boroughs.
