Speech and Language Therapy London Ltd was founded in 2017 by Rachel Lord. Rachel has worked with adults with communication and swallowing difficulties for over 10 years. She has led a team at a central London hospital facility and she has extensive experience of working with people with neurological conditions i.e. stroke, traumatic brain injury, MND, MS, Parkinson’s Disease and dementia. She has worked with a range of communication difficulties including aphasia, cognitive communication disorder, dysarthria and voice disorders. She also has vast experience of working with people with dysphagia and is trained in tracheostomy management and instrumental assessments, i.e. FEES (Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing) and videofluoroscopy.
Speech and Language Therapy London Ltd can offer assessment, advice and therapy to adults with communication and swallowing difficulties. All of our Speech and Language Therapists have enhanced DBS clearance and are members of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). In addition, our therapists are registered with a number of private health insurers including BUPA , AXA and Aviva.
